Registration Information

Annual registration is required for all families that would like to participate in Care After School. Students must be eligible to attend our program if offered enrollment. Students who will be new to the district in the 2025-26 school year cannot register to be on a waiting list until the open registration period in the spring.

There is a $40/family non-refundable registration fee. 

REGISTRATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ENROLLMENT

Children must be enrolled in a PM or All Day Kindergarten through 5th grade class in a Worthington Elementary School to be eligible to attend the after school program or be on a waiting list during the school year. Students can enroll in CAS only at their school of attendance. Children attending AM Kindergarten are eligible only for enrollment in the CAS morning programs (Liberty, Slate Hill and Worthington Estates), and are not eligible for any PM program or for the CAS waiting list. Children placed on a Worthington Schools All Day Kindergarten waiting list can remain on the CAS waiting list until the first day of school, at which time eligibility will be determined. A child cannot be enrolled in CAS without permission for emergency transportation. Children must be toilet trained in order to attend the Care After School program. April 8th - 19th: registration for families new to our program for the 2024-25 school year

You must register and pay the registration fee for the school year to be considered for enrollment or to be on the waiting list. 

March 25th - April 3rd: waiting list families registration. If you are on a waiting list for the 2023 -24 school year and have not registered please contact info@careafterschool.com

February 26th - March 3rd: currently enrolled families priority registration. If you are currently enrolled in our program and have not registered, please contact info@careafterschool.com.

Registration for the 2024-25 school year for families currently on a waiting list was  March 18th - April 3rd. If you missed the registration period, you must register as a new family.

Registration is required annually to be considered for enrollment. If you are still on a waiting list, your registration fee will be waived. Current waiting list families will be notified of upcoming registration timelines in the Spring.
Registrations received during the priority registration period will be processed after those of currently enrolled families. Incoming siblings will be added to the waiting list with their sibling. Your family will move up the waiting list and be offered enrollment as space is available.
We continue to offer enrollment throughout the school year. 

Registration for the 2024-25 school year was February 26th - March 3rd for currently enrolled families. If you missed the registration period, you must register as a new family. 

Registration is required annually to continue enrollment. Currently enrolled families receive priority  and will be notified of upcoming registration timelines in the Spring. Incoming siblings of currently enrolled students are given priority registration ahead of waiting list students.

Families that register for Care After School during the designated registration period and cannot be enrolled because the site is full are included on the waiting list for their school of attendance (site). Complete registration forms and registration fee payment are required to be included on a waiting list. The length of the waiting list and its movement varies from site-to-site and year-to-year. CAS cannot guarantee or predict when space will become available.  Openings are offered as space becomes available throughout the year.  Registration does not guarantee enrollment.
