Registration Information

Annual registration is required for all families that would like to enroll in Care After School. Students must be eligible to attend our program to be on a waiting list. Students who will be new to the district in the 2026-27 school year cannot register to be on a waiting list until the open registration period in the spring. 

There is a $40 per family non-refundable registration fee.

Eligibility

Children must be enrolled in a Kindergarten through 5th grade class in a Worthington Elementary School to be eligible to attend the after school program or be on a waiting list during the school year. Students can register, be on a waiting list, and/or enroll in CAS only at their school of attendance. A child cannot be enrolled in CAS without permission for emergency transportation. Children must be toilet trained in order to attend the Care After School program. See our Parent Handbook for additional details.

Registration for Currently Enrolled Families was March 16 - 22 and confirmations were sent through Brightwheel. Contact info@careafterschool.com with questions.

Registration for families on a waiting list for the 2025-26 school year registered April 8 - 19 and confirmation of enrollment or waiting list status was sent by April 24th. 

Families new to our program (not currently enrolled or on a waiting list), including incoming Kindergarteners and families new to the district register April 27 - May 10. All families that registered during this timeframe were included in a lottery to determine enrollment or waiting list status. Enrollment or waiting list status confirmations were emailed the week of May 11th.

                             There is a $40 per family registration fee that is non-refundable.

The following sites' enrollment and waiting lists are full and closed for the 2026-2027 school year and we are no longer accepting registrations: Bluffsview, Evening Street, Wilson Hill, Worthington Estates and Worthington Hills.

The following sites' enrollment lists are full but we are still accepting registrations to be added to the waiting list: Brookside, Colonial HIlls, Granby, Liberty PM, and Worthington Park.

Please click the link of your child's school of attendance to register for CAS  for the 2026-2027 school year. Do not register at more than one school.

Families that register for Care After School during the designated registration period and cannot be enrolled because the site is full are included on the waiting list for their school of attendance (site). Complete registration forms and registration fee payment are required to be included on a waiting list. The length of the waiting list and its movement varies from site-to-site and year-to-year. CAS cannot guarantee or predict when space will become available.  Openings are offered as space becomes available throughout the year.  Registration does not guarantee enrollment.
