CAS CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT

Confidentiality is maintained for all knowledge and information as described below. To ensure confidentiality, all employees are required to read, understand, and sign the Confidentiality Agreement.


Confidential information includes, but is not limited to: social security number, email, date of birth, 

religion, marital status, salary and payroll information, home phone number and address, passwords, 

gender, ethnicity, citizenship, citizen visa code, veteran and disability status, health and medical 

information, name/enrollment, photos/videos.


Information regarding children, parents, staff, and/or volunteers shall be respected and handled 

confidentially. All information concerning children, parents, staff, and/or volunteers shall be confidential and shall not be disclosed to or discussed with anyone other than those authorized to receive such information, unless disclosure is authorized by law.


Employees agree:

  • Not to disclose confidential information without proper authorization or other than when it is necessary to carry out job duties.
  • Not to access, report on, extract, or disclose information that is not required in their normal job functions and responsibilities.
  • That confidentiality applies equally to verbal information and information stored in information systems (databases) and on paper records.
  • Not to discuss and/or compare children with other families, unless it is within the scope of notifying families of a situation involving their child. 
  • To not discuss circumstances involving one child within a family with another child within that same family (sibling).
  • To not disclose confidential and identifying information concerning children, parents, staff, and volunteers online, including on any social and all social media platforms. To return all sensitive company documents upon termination of employment.


Failure to abide by this agreement could result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

This confidentiality does not include when reporting suspected abuse, complying with court orders, or 

seeking emergency medical help.
